Hey all,

I was just wondering if there's a way to accomplish something like having Spine treat a single Keyframe differently for the moment leading up to that Keyframe from the moment when it reaches it. Specifically I want to have a bone shrinking in size through interpolation until a point when it instantaneously jumps to a much larger size, without interpolation.

I can't use a "Stepped Curve" interpolation because it will keep the bone a constant size between the two Keyframes instead of shrinking it, like I intend. Even if the point between those two Keyframes is one frame, that's one frame too many for what I want to do.

So far I've been able to "cheat" and accomplish a similar effect by using two different meshes in the same slot attachment for the bone. This way I can manipulate the two different meshes simultaneously even on the same exact Keyframe, then simply switch from one mesh to the other during that Keyframe.

Does anyone know of a better way to do this?

Thanks!

You can hold shift while dragging a key (also while scrubbing the timeline) to disable snapping. This way you can use a stepped key, just place it the tiniest bit after the shrink key.
