While this is normally true, there is one scenario where being over the origin center of a bone does make a little difference. If the bone has zero length, being over that bone's origin will prefer the zero length bone, even if other bones pass through the point under the mouse. This is mostly relevant when making a selection with nothing currently selected, but can also be used to start a drag without accidentally selecting something else, especially when "select images" is enabled in the Options group on the main toolbar. :nerd:
