  • Feature Request/Idea: Hotkey for Un-key

Plain and simple, when you left click a 'key' icon it sets the key to red. Maybe right click a key icon to remove the key if it exists.??

Offtopic question: Why are key's red when key'd? I would think they should be green, but i feel like the team has debated this topic already amongst themselves.

I think you can double-click on a key in the dopesheet and it will delete it. (you can also disable this shortcut).
Clicking on it and pressing the Delete key also works.

I'm curious. In what situation is the un-key shortcut helpful?

I would like this as well. There are times when I am trying stuff and if I change my mind I want to revert back.

In what situation is it faster to scrub to a time, then click the button than
to double-click the actual key you want to remove in the dopesheet, or press CTRL+Z?

Pharan: Any situation where you want to remove a key without looking for it in the timeline. Specifically Event keys. Tried double clicking an event key just now, nothing happens. Events seem to be hard to keep track of, especially with large rigs(gotta scroll all the way down and find the event..

I gotta agree regarding the event keys. Those are annoying to fish out.
You have to select the root bone (or any simple bone) just to get rid of the rest of the items in the dopesheet.

I don't think you would have to look for it horizontally in the dopesheet 'cause how else would you be navigating through time if not through the dopesheet?
But vertically is a problem with events and draw order keys.
