Set the position of a point
Is there or there will be a way to set the exact position of a mesh point?
All the rear is one image.
I rotate the bone to animation the back and forth but I want to make the bottom static setting the points in the same position as the previous keyframe.
But can't mix mesh translations or set exact position like bones.
I'm interested in this as well. How do you pick up vertex positions from previous keys or set them precisely?
@BlackCapApps. That's a really nice animation you have going there.
Apologies in advance...
I cannot answer this, however I wanted to post a message to say how fantastic that animation is!!! Love it
You currently can't set mesh positions. Maybe we could enable that with copy and paste, like you can do with bones? For now a solution would be to animate the back and forth movement with the mesh rather than with a bone, so then only the part of the mesh you want to move would move. FFD doesn't do real rotation, "morphing" from one mesh deform to another is linear, but it would probably look ok here. You can do it easily: select the mesh, hold ctrl and drag to box select vertices for only the top part of the mesh, choose the Rotate tool, hover over the white X and then drag the pivot to the lower part of the mesh, then rotate the vertices. I expect you already know this though, as that animation looks great. 8)
Thanks guys!

Exactly!
Currently isn't possible to copy only a portion of vertexes.
It would greatly help.
