Are there not any known lighting issues when using transform rotation instead of FlipX? I'm seeing lights disappear on the SkeletonLit shader when using basic point or spot lights when rotating 180 on the Y. I had this problem a long time ago and went with a different non "unity" lights render texture lighting solution, but now we're using bounding boxes so we can't use flipX anymore and need unity lighting for this new project.

Check the Front Facing box to deal with flipped polygon direction. Hurts performance a bit but such is life with dynamic lighting
