Hi Harald

Can you give me some suggestions?

I added the Spine Timeline package, but can't seem to play anything. I added the animation clips and the Spine asset, but when I press play in the editor mode, I don't see the animation. The "scrubber" line tool doesn't move along the timeline too. :(

When I try to scrub the timeline manually, the Spine animations don't play either.

Entering play mode doesn't play the timeline too.

No console errors.

I can see the Playable Director on the spine object

I tried both. The UPM version doesn't let Unity start up.

  • spine.timeline 4.0 for spine-unity unitypackage (updated 2022-01-12)
  • spine.timeline 4.0 for spine-unity UPM (updated 2022-01-12)

I tried a simple timeline with basic unity objects and it works fine

Unfortunately Timeline support for SkeletonMecanim is not (yet) available. The spine-unity Timeline UPM package only supports SkeletonAnimation and SkeletonGraphic at the moment. You can check out this forum thread for workarounds.

Note that when using SkeletonAnimation, you need to use the Spine specific timelines, as shown in the documentation pages here: spine-unity Runtime Documentation: Timeline Extension UPM Package
