Imho no1 can write you tutorial how to make it until you feel it. 10% in animation is a skill, know of tools, 30% is experience and another 60% is feeling. If you feel animation, know tools and know how to use them (mean experience here) you wont need tutorials, you will just do it.
For sure dont train on mega detailed textures, if you didnt feel this yet, you should try simplier textures. Try to draw very simple character, just round face and eyes. No hairs.
Then put eyes on bones and try to move them to put key frames. When you will feel this cheat (cause 2D animation and especially making 3D effect is full of cheating and illusions), try to add hairs, mouth and more and more details. This way you should make it but anyways if you wont FEEL how its working, you must pass doing it on basic texture.
