  • 3.3.05 Mesh Deformation issue

Hello! I've been having an issue with the latest version of spine in Mesh Edit mode. When I go to define a hull for my mesh, the result is always strangely deformed - even if the vertices I define are identical to the four corners of its original bounding box! I reset my settings to default and made a new scene with a simple image to try again, but to no avail. I then rolled back to 3.2.01 in the Settings Menu and voila... The problem was fixed. Is there a different process for this mesh definition now, or is this a bug to be fixed? Thank you so much for your hard work!!

hey @shiu

can you tell us when ?we add a problem with the shader so we'v updated to 3.3.05, then everything was broken,

The screenshots are all in Spine, so I'm not sure runtime support is involved.

Can you post a spine project with images that shows the problem? You could also email the files. contact@esotericsoftware.com

Yes! This is all in Spine. I was a bit confused as to why shearing/runtimes would be a part of my issue as well. I will email the files now, thank you. 🙂

I had the same problem! I had to hit "reset" to the mesh everytime to get it back to how it had to be, but it was misplaced then

Erikari: I contacted Esoteric and got confirmation that it is a bug! Reportedly it should be fixed soon. 🙂

I am having a similar issue. Whenever I add a slot to a bone, the texture is sheared in a seemingly random way.

Sorry guys, this has been fixed in 3.4.00. It happens when using the New tool in Edit Mesh mode and clicking outside the bounds. Until 3.4.00, you can work around the problem by being careful to click inside the bounds.

Thanks Nate! I'll keep that in mind from now on O:
