I managed to do what I wanted via doing it like this - just in case anyone else wants to know:
table_root
└── vinyl_perspective (since I went for an Isometric perspective the easiest was just scaling the height to 0,5)
└── vinyl_rotation (this one is the one that will be animated)
└── vinyl_slot / vinyl_mesh (the vinyl top view)
The two bones of course start in the center of the circle.
