I will surely find it after this is posted.
Anyway, I can't find hotkeys for switching between "Modify", "Create" and "Delete" when editing mesh. Does it exist?
Any suggestion much appreciated.
Hotkeys for mesh editing?
Hi, thanks for posting. Have you checked your hotkeys file from the Spine settings menu?
I checked mine and my hotkeys for creating, deleting, and modifying meshes are currently unset, as you can see in the screenshot.
To set them, click the Spine logo in the top left corner and then click settings, or press F12 on your keyboard. Go to the Application tab and look under Files -> Hotkeys and click the Open button. CTRL/CMD-F should help you quickly find the place to set them.
I'm using a Mac with an M1 chip running Sonoma 14.5, but I'm having trouble with some hotkeys. I assigned (cut and paste) cmd + 1 and cmd + 2 to the Edit Mesh - Modify and Edit Mesh - Create functions. However, when I press these hotkeys, a small transparent grey box appears that says it's in Edit Modify mode or Edit Create mode, but it doesn't perform the expected actions. When I try to switch to Edit Mesh Modify using the new hotkeys, it still behaves just like Edit Mesh Create.
acai Sorry for the inconvenience! Actually, we are aware of the problem with some hotkeys where assigning the cmd key does not work, and we will add a fix in the next release (Spine 4.2.34):

Thank you so much for your quick reply! That sounds great. I'm looking forward to the next update.
I just updated my hotkey using the Option key, and it works great. Thanks again!
acai Spine 4.2.34 was just released, but unforutnately the problem you pointed out turned out to be a different problem and has not yet been fixed in this version. There is an issue ticket here, so you can check there for progress on this issue: EsotericSoftware/spine-editor816
