Hi,

I have seen your work in your post and it looks fantastic. I'm looking for someone that can make some backgrounds for my game ( top-view, like Zelda or SNES RPG games, not retro style).

Basically I'm a one man army hehe so I'm doing the assets for the buttons, enemies, particles, etc etc, but so far I have made only one background (for one level), beacuse it needs to repeat and also it needs some assets (like trees, houses, and that sort of things).

Its kind of difficult because I'm mostly a programme, my first background looks OK for me but the rest needs experience from someone that really knows what's talking 😃

I would like to know how much would be for the job, It would be 5 backgrounds (every background would be a square which can be repeated and look good) and some assets for the scenario (if the background is a beach, I would need some clamps, waves, or if its a village, 1 or two houses, some lamps, nothing too complicated). Ah, and I would need them in SVG format (so I can export them on Inkscape in multiple resolutions).

The project sounds fairly straight forward. You need me to create a handful of top-down tile sets with props (trees, houses, bushes etc). If you could show me the one background you have already finished then I'll know exactly what you're looking for. How many props you need effects my price, so if you can give me a general list I can give you a better idea of a quote.

My only concern is you need it all as vector art. By nature vector art is extremely time consuming. If it has to be vector I'll try to give you an appropriate quote once you send me the example background you've already got. Alternatively, i can illustrate everything much faster in PNG format and just draw it 4x or even 10x your publishing size. That would give you the flexibility to zoom in when needed and keep my price and production time down.

Considering you have a few tile-sets, I'd probably opt for us to do one set at a time and would quote you per set. This is the kind of project I could either do over the course of a few weeks or few months depending on the details you send me.
