Hi All,

It seems the 'p' keyboard hotkey shortcut is no longer working to parent slots to other slots :think:

I'm using 4.0.31-beta Professional. I remember it working a couple versions ago. But, now when I select a slot and press 'p' on keyboard, nothing happens. I am definitely in Setup mode when doing this.

Is this a bug, was it changed intentionally, or am I incorrect that 'p' could be used to "set parent" previously?

You're right! You aren't going crazy, at least not regarding this. 😉 This was a bug, we've fixed it in 4.0.32-beta. Sorry for the trouble!

Quick other question.. the update message says "Added favor +/- and mode hotkeys."

What are the new mode hotkeys, and what does it mean "added favor +/- ?

The new hotkeys are found in the hotkeys file and are:

Favor+ (5): 
Favor+ (10): 
Favor+ (15): 
Favor- (5): 
Favor- (10): 
Favor- (15): 
Favor - Favor: 
Favor - Blend: 
Favor - Shift: 
Favor - Linear: 
Favor - Average (curve): 
Favor - Average (frame): 
Favor - Average (all): 
Favor - Default: 
Favor - Setup: 
Favor - Store:

These are related to the favor tool, which you can find in the graph by clicking the heart button. The favor tool is also known as "tween machine" and other names. It is convenient for a number of tasks, but specifically for creating in-between poses. Eg, you say you have two poses and you want to create a new pose between them. The favor tool can easily create a new pose which is closer to the previous or next pose. We'll have a video explaining how to use it soon!
