Change draw order in an animation

Hello,
For example, a character facing to the right, holding his shield left hand. During animation "defense", his shield protects his head and body. How to slide his left forearm (with shield) from the background to the foreground in the animation? Is it possible to do, without changing the draw order in Setup mode?

Yes, when you rearrange draw order in Animate mode you can key the change.
