Hi,

Just wondering where I last saw Spine Menu example. Would it be possible to get cocos2d-x menu implementation, both with code and the menu on the example? Think it was some kinda start menu.

Just curious of the best way to implement click events with spine and cocos2d-x. 😉

EDIT: If someone has a working spinosaurus example, where images change on mouse over if possible? But more importantly, click events to code when you click on the menu items 🙂

Spine is for playing animations, set up your animation and use CCRectContainsPoint, so on and so forth.

I don't think anyone has animated a UI with Spine yet.

You can get the vertices of an image and do hit detection for mouse clicking.

If using an actual UI toolkit, you can use images in Spine to animate a UI, then at runtime use the Spine skeleton only to position your real UI elements instead of drawing the skeleton images.
