Importing Data and Scaling Breaks Positions

Hiya, I haven't used the Spine Editor for a while, so when I was importing some data exported from Photoshop I was pleased to see the 'Scale' slider there.

On my first import, oops, a bit too large:

Let's try that scale slider, I'll drop it to 0.1:

Poor llama thing. What's going on here?

The scale is something you'd want to use when you're importing a json and have/want to have smaller or larger images, like in this case: how to properly resize your project?

I recommend to get the latest photoshop script here: spine-scripts/photoshop at master · EsotericSoftware/spine-scripts (which I guess you did!)
and here's a little example on how to use the new settings: (it's right at the beginning of the video)

Oh, huh. I would have thought the scale slider would have applied its factor to the relative positions as well as the image size. Is there a use-case for just scaling the images and not the positions too? I know that when I Import Data, I always want both to be set correctly, since having one isn't much use without the other (see the unfortunate llama above!)

I'm probably not using the latest in the photoshop script since I've made some changes to it to suit my workflow, but it's not a massive problem. My workaround to the unexpected (at least, unexpected to me) import behaviour is just to scale the root bone instead, and that's fine.

I think there's a misunderstanding here.

You were talking about the "scale" slider in the photoshop script's window?
That should both export scaled versions of the images and scaled down positions as you would expect.

What you ran into immediately seems to me like you got a new json, but didn't replace your old large images with the new small images.
Is that not what happened? Or maybe Photoshop failed to overwrite the old images?
