Changelog says:

Image “selectable” checkbox became “background”, when checked the image isn’t selectable and won’t be exported.

But with the background checkbox checked, the image is still included in the JSON as an attachment in a skin, causing the skeleton to break at runtime.

Not sure if that's what you meant or you just meant it won't get exported in the packed atlas/texture.

Oops, missed an important part of that. Will fix, thanks!

I actually think that using the background term for unselectable items is counter intuitive. I could easily imagine something that I don't want to be able to select, but still export. In my opinion background should still be a separate node where the selectability is controlled by the small options panel in the main toolbar, and then two checkboxes in the properties for items not in the background node, selectable and export.

When would you want to make a single image not selectable? This doesn't seem super useful. Even if there is a use case, it is likely only useful in the setup mode. In animate mode you can click an image to select bones now, but I'm not sure disabling that for a single image is useful.

Since it isn't the most important feature and I just want to get it done, create a backgrounds node and all that isn't appealing. We could have a selectable and export checkbox for images, but only if there is a good reason to have 2 checkboxes instead of 1.
