I'd like to be able to duplicate a bone and it's contents... For instance... Suppose I had...
+bone_smokeparticle_1
+slot_smoke_1
+smoke_image
Maybe I'd 4 or 5 of these to do some smoky effect. Right now it seems very cumbersome to duplicate this structure. (or maybe there's a way?) Dupe would auto rename the bits to _2 or whatever...
Likewise if the smoke bits all animate similarly there doesnt seem to be a way to copy key values from one object to another. It would be nice to be able to also duplicate the animation of that structure and then tweak it in the dopesheet.
Next ... Most game engines support multiply and additive draw modes. I'd like to be able to tag slots as using one or the other or normal drawing. Right now I name my slot "add_glow" instead of just glow and my c++ importer/runtime knows what to do, but it's a hack. Would be nice to have it built in somehow.
Another suggestion - It would be nice to set end-keyframes on a chennel to a type. END (default) LOOP, ALTERNATE. Right now either the whole animation loops or it doesn't. Id like to set this on a channel by channel basis. For instance you might have some kind of propeller in a cut scene or on a sprite looping. It's a pain to manually loop it through the whole animation.
Speaking of rotation.. Rotations are normalized in the 0-360 degrees range. This makes long rotations difficult and also makes choosing a direction difficult. It should be possible to set a rotation of 720 or -360. That way you can have something rotate twice through easily or choose a direction easily. If I wanted to rotated from 0 to 300 right now i'd have to insert intermediate frames to force the direction.
