In Spine 4.0, while the audio event's audio still get displayed and played in Dopesheet View, the Audio View doesn't display anything at all except the red diamond keyed icons.

I did a quick test in Spine 3.8 with a similar process and the Audio View works.

It looks like you have the visibility dot in the tree inactive for the event. That makes it not play the audio and not show in the audio view. It's mentioned here:
Events - Spine User Guide: Viewport events
