I'm an early spine2d user and I was responsible for introducing it into my company and happy to say we have more than couple of dozen animators which exclusively work with spine2d now. When we started we enjoyed using "ae to spine2d" immensely as spine lacking the Ae's expressions side of ae, we could use complex expressions and then use expressions to keyframe and make magical animations. Unfortunately that script stoped working and I'm guessing it's more likely Adobes fault but wondering if it is any chance we someday see that script or better yet a plug-in?

Unfortunately no one on our team has much experience with writing scripts for After Effects. Writing scripts for Photoshop has been absolutely terrible, so it's hard to gather enough motivation to jump back into more of that kind of pain. Still I know it would be useful and I've wanted us to work on an AE script for a long time, but there always seems to be more pressing issues that need our attention.

It may be that the current script (which was contributed by another user) can be salvaged. Do you have any information on what doesn't work about it?
