Hello everyone. I've just got Spine PRO, and I'm loving it.
I've run into a problem though, and I'm not sure if Spine can do what I want, or if I'm just trying to do it wrong.
I have a character with two slots:
• Body
• Item
The body can by one of two things: Hamster or Beaver
The Item can be one of three things: Pirate Hat, Viking Helmet, or Roman Helmet
I've made a 'Hamster' skin, and a 'Beaver' skin. And when I turn these skins on the Body slot images change accordingly.
Now I'm making skins for the items. I've made a 'Pirate Hat' skin, 'Viking Helmet' skin, and 'Roman Helmet' skin. When I turn on the 'Pirate Hat Skin' my Body slot images disappear (Presumably because the Body slot thinks I want it to be a pirate hat, and there's no images associated with that.)
Is there a way to pick different skins for the Body slot and Item slot independent of each other? For example, I would like to see:
• Hamster with a Pirate Hat
• Beaver with a Pirate Hat
• Hamster with a Viking Helmet
• etc
Does this have to be programmed separately in my game engine, or can I preview this in Spine? (Note: I handle the art and animation, game engines aren't my forte, but any advice I can pass along to my programmer would be hugely appreciated!)

OOOOOOOOOH. . . you can view multiple skins in the 'Skins' view.
Incase someone else needs to know this here are the steps:
• In the top left corner of the screen click [Views]
• Select [Skins]
• When you mouse over the available skins, don't click on the name, click on the pin icon for each skin you want to see turned on.
• Voila! Hope this helps.

Hi, welcome to Spine!
The Skins view allows multiple skins to be visible at the same time in the viewport. See this page for more information:
