Hello. I'm brand new to the software, and was curious why I'm missing the images folder. I have a fully animated project, and wanted to add additional images to the scene.

I am currently using 4.0 PRO if that helps.

Hello, welcome to the Spine forum! I guess you are in the ANIMATE mode now. You can only add images to your skeleton in the SETUP mode. Please note some of the views are changed depending on the mode.
