Hi,
Our team is using Spine Pro for character animations, and we have a relatively modest Spine file that was, at one point, exporting fine. But now, when we export, it hangs on "Packing: skeleton 1/1661" (39%) for ages.
If I let it run for hours on end, it sometimes eventually exports, but the end result is corrupted. When I bring it into Unity, first I get Could not automatically set the AtlasAsset for "skeleton". When I tell it where the atlas it's generating is, it says:
SkeletonDataAsset for "skeleton" has missing regions.
Current Atlases: --none--
Missing Regions:
Shoes/colors/skate
(etc...)
And I can't get it to display anything in the scene view. Whereas, if I import a slightly older Unity export of our Spine project, it works fine. I tried this with the Spine version we were originally using for our project (4.0.32 PRO), but also got the same result updating the project to the new version. So something must have changed in our project that triggered a Spine bug to occur.
I experienced this problem on both PC and Mac, and the other engineer experienced it as well.
Here are the export settings:
I could provide the Spine files privately if needed -- I have a feeling this would be the easiest way for you to find the bug, but I didn't want to post the files on a public forum as it's a proprietary project.
EDIT: by the way I did check spine.log and there was nothing notable. It just has some system info and got as far as
"Update available: 4.0.47." No errors.
Thanks!

Sorry for the trouble. We’d like to check the project that has that exporting problem, so could you send it to contact@esotericsoftware.com?

OK, I just sent two emails! Check the second email for the actual link to the files, I stupidly forgot it in the first one. Thanks!

Thank you for sending your project! On my PC, it could be exported even if I didn’t add any change, but I found there is a missing image in the skeleton. The missing image is in “Shoes3D” skin, the left shoe image doesn’t be capitalized the “S”.

Correct : leftShoe3D.png
Could you try to fix the name and export it again?
By the way, I used the

By the way, I used the
Show all skin attachments
option in Tree view to check your skeleton. It is useful to see all of the attachments at once, especially the skeleton that has a lot of skins like your project. I recommend you to use it when you face exporting problems.I hope it will solve your problem.

Thank you! This fixed the problem of importing into Unity. It works fine now that I fixed that skin you mentioned.
It does still take one hour straight to export, even with an i9 processor, so I will say that it's very slow... but it does work. I appreciate the help.

I'm glad to hear that the problem is fixed!
Hmm, it's weird. On my PC, exporting your project did not take so long. Does it happen only on your project? Could you try to export our official example projectIt does still take one hour straight to export, even with an i9 processor, so I will say that it's very slow... but it does work.
