Downloaded spine, ran Spine.sh and it tried to download spine. It fails with the message:

Sorry, the update has failed
Please try again or contact us at:
contact@esotericsoftware

(The email lacks a domain in the error message)

I had spine previously intalled (I don't remember the version). I deleted the .spine directory, but it did not help.

I ran it trough strace and this seems interesting:

I can't upload the entire log here, but if it is helpful I will put it up somewhere.

Thanks, your strace was useful. I've changed it so if the rename fails it will do a copy. I've updated the downloads, can you please try again. The log should report the launcher version as 1.0.07. Also fixed the missing ".com".
